Job Opportunities at Dova Center

Job Description:

The Dova Center is looking for a hard-working, organized, people person, with strong leadership skills to guide our team to help us with our ongoing mission to help our patients live their best lives by getting them out of pain and supporting them with their health care goals.

Ideally, you are organized, manage your time well, and are energetic to start your day and ours.
You look at our schedule and are psyched that we’re busy. If we’re not full, you automatically think of patients to check on, or, run a report and start reactivating patients (by calling them) for the rest of the week.
You are fun to be around and very smart.
You self-start with other projects when you get breaks throughout the day from the phones and checking patients in and out.
You are positive and take care of your own health.
You are motivated to lead our staff and are very supportive of our patients’ needs.
You step up anytime you are needed and take care of business.

The ABSOLUTE skills you MUST possess in order to be considered for this job are coachability, friendliness, and confidence – your presence makes our patients feel taken care of every time they call or come in for a treatment.

And, if you ALSO have strong skills in the areas of managing a medical practice, have strong computer and medical software skills (Quickbooks, Excel, Google Drive/Docs, Mindbody, Dropbox, OfficeAlly, Asana), type at least 50 wpm, demonstrate strong organizational skills and time management, you have a take-charge attitude and are an independent thinker who enjoys solving problems, you’re definitely going to be at the top of the list. However, we can work with you if needed to get you there, especially if you bring to the table the ability to anticipate a problem and fix it before it happens, are open to being coached, and have the can-do attitude to work with confidence and independence.

In order to be considered for this job, you MUST be bringing some serious compassion, confidence, and people skills to our team.

Additional non-negotiable essentials for this job include:

  1. Friendy, outgoing people person
  2. Ability to explain the patient process, including payment options and membership plans with ease
  3. Comfort with collecting payment from patients
  4. Follow and help to re-evaluate our business systems and checklists that help us to mainstream our efficient processes

And, if you do not appreciate disorganization, people who don’t pull their weight, clutter, poor communication, EVEN BETTER because you’ll be a HUGE help to us!

One more thing. We’re serious about our mission and our business, so please do NOT apply for this position if you:

  1. Are easily distracted, need to check your cell phone often while at work, or need to be working on personal projects while at work
  2. Are going to be needing a lot of time off
  3. Aren’t sure if you can commit to the days/times offered
  4. Don’t believe in the power of natural medicine
